Share from Heart: Aortic Valve Stenosis Surgery and Recovery

Mark Ridder was first alerted to the presence of a congenital heart defect at a young age. Congenital, meaning the deformed valve was present at birth, would be monitored throughout Mark’s life. In November 2012, Mark required replacement of his aortic valve and is a generous resource for support and encouragement if you or someone you know are facing heart valve surgery. Mark shares his story and why he wants to help others: http://spr.ly/60578WYNx and can be contacted through the AHA Support Network.
